Calmar
Beginners - Ok! Offered for half lease at Rancho Los Amigos in Imperial Beach - San Diego, CA is our wonderful Holsteiner Warmblood gelding Calmar. Calmar is 17 years old, 17.3hh, sound and very gentle. He is easy enough for a beginner and so well schooled even the most advanced of riders would enjoy riding him. Calmar is schooled to 4th level dressage, knows all of the moves and has had a life long career of jumping. Although he can no longer jump we would love for his leaser to ride him dressage, on trails or just pleasure ride him. Calmar is a perfect gentlemen on the ground is husband/kid safe and is also excellent in the arena and on trail. All tack and grooming supplies are included in the lease. We have high quality english and western tack available. We are in no hurry to lease him out and are currently taking phone interviews hoping to find the right fit for Calmar and us.
Asking $200/per month which is half of his board. We are willing to negotiate the price for the right person. Calmar is kept up to date on all vet care, shoeing and is body clipped and blanketed during winter. He is fed supplements and also lives in a box stall with a run, so he stays pretty clean. The lease would be for 3 - 4 days per week.
